Now that Friday’s–finally–here, you’ll likely be spending your weekend in a perpetual state of chill, which obviously calls for a list of perfect jams to play everywhere from the beach to a rooftop cocktail session.

Enter New York-based DJ and owner of e-comm site Vetta Vintage Jasmine Chess, whose roots run deep in the music industry—her grandfather, Leonard Chess, founded Chess Records in 1950 and discovered blues and soul legends Muddy Waters, Etta James and Chuck Berry, while her father founded The Rolling Stones’ record label in the 1970s. Three generations later, Chess can be found spinning at key fashion events for brands like Alexander McQueen, La Perla, Missoni, and Vogue.

Needless to say, this girl knows a thing or two about how to make a killer playlist, and we’ll be blasting her suggestions–the perfect mix of pop and old-timey blues–all weekend.

Jack Ü – Where Are Ü Now (with Justin Bieber)
“A great summer song for car rides or hanging by the pool. And I have to say I’m really feeling Bieber on this track!”

“This song is fire… Loving all Jamie xx’s tunes from his first solo album In Colour.”

Kat Deluna – Bum Bum (feat. Trey Songz)
