Okay, so I have a confession. The City. First episode–ridiculed it to no end. But somehow found myself thinking about it a leetle more than I feel comfortable admitting. Second episode? Full-fledged addict! I mean–last night, when Whitney asked Jay where their relationship stood and he gave her the typical dude answer in which he uses a lot of random words strung together that in actuality say NOTHING AT ALL?! And then the camera zooms in on Whitney’s extremely crestfallen face to the sound of Beyonce’s “If I Was a Boy” beginning it’s first familiar chords??? GENIUS. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard. Also, watching Olivia Palermo in all her acidic “social” (as opposed to “socialite”) glory is just about the best thing ever. Pure, unadulterated entertainment. Obsessed.
