Chanel puts on a spectacle twice a year in celebration of its pre-fall and resort collections. There have been fashion shows on the boardwalk in St. Tropez and shows at Versailles and in Venice. The latest Chanel Metier d’Art show took place outside of historic Edinburgh, Scotland (Chanel has long had ties to Scotland, and even owns a cashmere mill in the country) in Linlithgow.
The show was as spectacular as you would imagine—there were bagpipers, supermodels, and one of the most lavish dinner spreads we have ever laid our eyes on, and all of the action took place in Linlithgow Palace, a nearly 600-year-old castle.
Luckily all of our favorite jet-setters were along for the ride and were there to capture the action. Here, some of favorite shots from the epic trip.
