In the world of red carpets, some are meant for celebrities wearing designer gowns and some that are meant for the designers themselves. Tonight, we celebrate the Oscars of award ceremonies for fashion folk: The CFDA Awards. Considering this is the melting pot for some of the most influential young blood in the industry, the competition is pretty thick, not to mention pretty flipping inspiring.

This year, the nominees run the gamut from  socialites to would-be celebrities to previous winners to rookies. Considering the wild cards in the running, we decided to break down who we want to win against who the more probable shoo-ins will be.

Be sure to stay tuned to our updates to see just how accurate we are and check out the slideshow above to see who we’re betting on!
