Celebrities at Sundance Show Off Their Chic Winter Style: Rooney Mara, Nicole Kidman, More

We're used to Rooney Mara on the red carpet in an edgy number from Givenchy, but she looked comfortable and casual at the NYLON + ASOS dinner.

Nicole Kidman may have looked more conservative than usual due to the frigid temperatures, but she somehow managed to look effortlessly glamorous in Bottega Veneta.

James Franco looked scruffy as usual at a dinner hosted by Stella Artois for his new porn documentary "Kink."

Shia LaBeouf showed off his cropped 'do and eternal love of jean jackets at the red carpet for his flick "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman."

Jane Lynch attended the premiere of "Afternoon Delight" in a Sundance staple: Sorel boots.

"Glee" star Jonathan Groff showed off slope-appropriate menswear at the Getty Images Portrait Studio.

"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe looked dashing as he attended a dinner for his film "Kill Your Darlings," in which he plays Allen Ginsberg

"Entourage" veteran Adrian Grenier showed off his snowboarding skills when he wasn't attending the StyleCaster-hosted party for "May in the Summer" alongside buddy Scooter Braun

"Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario posed for a portrait at the Getty Images Portrait Studio at Village at the Lift.

A pregnant and glowing Evan Rachel Wood came out to support her flick "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman."

Adorable actors Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode looked adorable while posing for a portrait.

"Popular" star (come on, we all remember it) Leslie Bibb had some fun in the portrait booth.

Veteran actor Dermot Mulroney posed for a portrait.

Rapper Lil Jon took a break from partying to hit the slopes.

Naturally, James Franco posed with a fan—who looks like she was about to burst into tears. His fur hat is a Sundance trend as well.

Mario Lopez rocked a Burberry scarf.

"The West Wing" actress Allison Janney was decked out in her winter finest at an UGG event.

"Dancing with the Stars" personality Karina Smirnoff donned all back at the Grey Goose Blue Door Anonymous Content Party.

Paris Hilton and her much younger boyfriend model River Viiperi were seen all over Park City this past weekend.

The Sundance Film Festival is the only time of year an A-list celebrity can wear Sorel boots, a chunky scarf, or—shocking, we know—a pair of Uggs on a red carpet and not be judged for it. That’s because at the legendary film festival, which takes place every year in swanky Park City, Utah, it’s de riguer to appear stylishly comfortable and winter-ready.

Everyone from Rooney Mara to James Franco to Nicole Kidman ditched their usual red carpet getups in favor of something more weather-appropriate (Kidman still managed to stun in Bottega Veneta, but it was the most covered-up we’ve seen her in awhile).
