Last season, we lusted after the Sperry Top-Sider’s. This season, these Manolo Blahnik for Band of Outsiders spiky heels are our must-haves. The lace-up leather stunners were inspired by the iconic Chuck Taylors. And my heart melts. Oh and the collection was really pretty too. The usual French New Wave references are still there and with Godard’s La Chinoise as the source of inspiration, Scott Sternberg gave us enough school-girl (and boy) rebel to keep us on our toes. I loved the part when Kanye staged his own revolution by plopping down to take pictures in the middle of the presentation.
You will still find the usual sharply tailored jackets and enough corduroy and tweed to last all season.
