When it was announced that “The Amazing Spider-Man” was coming out this year, many people were baffled. After all, it’s only been a few years since the conclusion of the previous Spider-Man franchise starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. With one look at this film’s stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone on the red carpet, however, it’s clear that the franchise was brought back for a reason.
Many of us came to love the adorable (and more importantly British) Andrew Garfield from his role in “The Social Network.” Emma Stone first won our hearts in the smash-hit Superbad and we’ve since to appreciate her prowess in teen comedies like “Easy A” and more grown-up flicks like “The Help.”
Like many before them, they fell in love on set and lucky for us, they’ve brought their love to the red carpet. They are each style icons in their own right: Andrew has a penchant for Band of Outsiders and sharp suits by top labels like Balenciaga and Gucci; meanwhile, Emma is isn’t afraid to explore trends like peplum and mixing patterns.
