The British Fashion Council released the shortlist of the 2012 BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund today. There were some definite shockers and some that had us questioning if they weren’t a touch too established to be nominated. But, c’est la vie in the world of fashion! The lucky winner will be selected by a panel of judges and will be rewarded200,000 to fund their future business. The nomiated designers are:

- Marios Schwab
- Mary Katrantzou
- Meadham Kirchhoff
- Nicholas Kirkwood
- Peter Pilotto
- Richard Nicoll
- Roksanda Ilincic
- Zoe Jordan
