It’s nearly August, which means the September issues are about to be released, along with a dizzying amount of fall 2015 campaigns. And while the clothes had their runway debut back in February, the print ads are straight-up creative expression and layer on the brand’s current muse(s) and, well, general vibe of the moment.
This season, every creative director and designer seems to have taken a different approach. For example: While Céline’s focus is on lesser-known models, Alexander Wang’s campaign features a girl gang of his favorite buzzy names, and not one, but three brands have tapped Kendall Jenner.
Meanwhile, Karl Lagerfeld took Chanel in a pared-back direction, and Mulberry’s new creative director stayed true to the brand’s British roots by featuring It Brit, Georgia May Jagger in the campaign.
