The lady of the night, Vogue editrix Anna Wintour, posed with Sarah Jessica Parker wearing Calvin Klein Collection.

Sarah Jessica Parker, a Vogue darling and close friend of Anna Wintour, donned a vintage rust colored dress and a blue Fendi Baguette with a gold fringe (channeling her iconic character Carrie Bradshaw).

"Girls" star Zosia Mamet looked elegant in Carven.

"Glee" star and budding style setter Dianna Agron wore a Bottega Veneta Spring 2013 look.

Christina Ricci looked slim and chic in Richard Chai Love.

Vogue creative director Grace Coddington rocked her traditional menswear inspired look for her big night.

Leave it to Jenna Lyons to completely steal the red carpet. J. Crew's Chief Creative Officer was perfectly on trend in mixed patterns and a killer coat.

Ralph Lauren's daughter (and the woman behind that fabulous candy bar) Dylan Lauren looked fabulous in a silk emerald top.

Supermodel Carol Alt worked the red carpet in an animal print coat.

Zac Posen and stylist beau Christopher Niquet struck a pose.

Elettra Wiedemann showed off her enviable figure in a navy zip-up dress.

Marchesa queen (and newly pregnant) Georgina Chapman looked lovely on the red carpet.

Veteran stylist Jade Hobson looked regal in a pantsuit.

Designer Tory Burch channeled her usual effortless glam to celebrate the magazine that helped make her a household name.

Last night, some of the fashion world’s most famous editors, designers and a slew of celebrities stepped out to attend the premiere of the upcoming documentary In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which airs tonight at 9 p.m. on HBO. The documentary gives viewers as inside look at what is arguably the most influential fashion magazine in the world, just in time for its 120th anniversary.

The Vogue staff, including luminaries like Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington, were in attendance, as well as fashion-forward A-listers like Sarah Jessica Parker, Dianna Agron, Jenna Lyons, and “Girls” star Zosia Mamet. Naturally, since this was a Vogue event, everyone stepped up their style game, sporting dresses that ranged from Calvin Klein to Bottega Veneta.
