This Mother's Day we can't wait to celebrate all the amazing, hard-working mamas out there. Besides great cooking and showing us how you juggle a million things at once, we know moms teach us a lot about how to be happy, beautiful women. We checked in with some of our favorite beauty bloggers to find out what their moms taught them about beauty; tips they still use today. The answers (and pics!) are nothing, if not adorable! Here's what the experts had to say:

Top 10 Wavy Hairstyles

"When I was growing up in the late 70s and early 80s, my mom's big gold hoops, subtly swooped liquid liner and bouncy, hot-rollered hair informed my entire approach to beauty. She was working the sexy-gypsy thing long before Nicole Richie thought to tie a scarf around her head. To this day, I still fluff my hair and do a hoop earring check before I leave the house!"

How To Wear Liquid Liner

"I learned about skincare, especially the use of sunscreens, from my mum at a very young age. I always marvelled at her dressing table because it had a lot of lotions and potions which intrigued me, but I was never allowed to touch them. She said 'Tine, when you are older, you will be using these. And maybe someday, you may even have more than what I have here.' You know what, she's right!"

Could Your Spray Tan Kill You?

"When it comes to age prevention, my mom taught me the most important thing a mother could: to wear sunscreen from an early age! She had me slathering on moisturizer with SPF 15 from my tweens onward, which, in the overly bronzed days of the late 80s and early 90s, saved me from oodles of premature sun damage. I'm happy to say that I've never set foot in a tanning bed, and I owe that to my mom's sage advice! Sunscreen is one of the few proven, surefire ways to prevent premature aging, and I'm now passing this on to my son (though at almost 3, he's not too appreciative yet!)."

What You Need To Know About Sunscreen

"My mom taught me that less is more. She has great skin and has never worn a lot of makeup, but knows how to enhance her features with a little bit of eye makeup, cream blush and lip color for a very natural look. While I may experiment with a fun lip color here and there, I keep my look natural as well."

How To Go Nude

"My mother was more into skincare than makeup, especially eye cream, which she was always slathering on. Every time I opened the fridge, I'd see her little tube of eye cream nesting in the egg bin because she said the cooler it is, the better it works at reducing puffy undereye circles. And now that I'm a mom myself, I totally get it! I can't live without eye cream; I need it to look half awake in the morning, and help preserve and repair all of my fine lines. I'm currently a fan of SK-II Eye Cream Skin Signature Eye Cream ($110,"

10 Eye-Opening Treatments

"My mother is an old fashioned glamour girl. She's been wearing individual false lashes every day since 1986. She loves YSL perfumes, this hundred year old cologne called 4711, she believes in Dior Capture Totale and she now calls MAC Show Orchid her 'signature color.' She's been a lover of bold lipstick and orange nail polish for my whole life - my mom has never cared about beauty trends, she knows what looks good on her and sticks to it. I learned to figure out what looks good on me and don't get caught up in trends."

10 Sexy Lip Colors For Spring

"The most important beauty lesson I learned from my mom was to keep it simple. I grew up in Vermont where makeup really wasn't a part of our everyday. We spent a lot of time outdoors in the country and I learned very quickly that less in more. As a makeup artist I still incorporate that on all my clients. Tinted moisturizers, BB creams, sheer glosses are the way to accentuate your features without looking overdone. I really like seeing the person as their best self, rather than a transformation that feels forced!"
