Brazil’s Thássia Naves is one of the most influential women on the planet right now. She has over two million followers on Instagram and an ultra successful blog, and trend forecaster WGSN name-checked her as one of the biggest influencers during Milan Fashion Week, listed just behind Chiara Ferragni, Dolce & Gabbana, and Nikki Minaj. She’s also been announced as one of the Business of Fashion 500—a selection of the 500 most influential people in the fashion industry globally. In short: Naves is a big deal.
Along with street-style photos, this star’s Instagram is dotted with activewear outfit snaps, workout videos (she’s big on boxing), and more evidence that healthy food and fitness play a big role in Naves’s life. For breakfast I had:
Berries, strawberries, yogurt, and granola.
For lunch I had:
A burger and fries—not so healthy, but I love my food, and I believe everything in moderation!
For dinner I had:
Sushi—it’s filling and so delicious.
Today I snacked on:
A few different things, including nuts, a piece of fruit, and a cereal bar.
The one thing I would never eat is:
My all-time favorite workout is:
Running. I feel so free when I run!
The next big health and fitness trend will be:
Boxing. There seems to be more and more people getting into it. I think hitting something is a stress reliever, so even the girliest of girls and supermodels can enjoy it. It’s meant to be great for toning the arms and abs too.
The health trend I just can’t get behind is:
This no-carb thing; I just couldn’t live like that! I love carbs too much and would just be hungry all the time if I didn’t have them.
My favorite healthy restaurant is:
Catch restaurant in New York City. It’s not the healthiest restaurant in the world, but I love the seafood there!
The top three songs on my workout playlist right now are:
“The Hills” by The Weeknd, “Me and My Girls” by Selena Gomez, and “Sorry” by Justin Bieber.
I start my average day by:
Splashing my face with fresh cold water, and if I’m in my hometown, I try to go to the gym for an hour each morning.
My favorite healthy snack is:
The cereal bars from Kind.
My favorite fitness blogs and websites are:
Gabriela Pugliesi and Carol Buffara‘s blogs.
My favorite Instagram accounts are:
Eva Chen, Taylor Swift, Vogue, Kylie Jenner, Tommy Ton, and Chufy.
The three ingredients you’ll always find in my kitchen are:
Tapioca, coconut water, and berries.
The best part of my job is:
It has definitely been an adventure to go from nothing to having two million followers, but—trust me—it did not happen overnight. I’ve worked consistently on the blog, and it has literally grown and become something that I just couldn’t have anticipated. The best part of my job? I would say it is inspiring my followers and being a positive influence in their lives. It’s such an incredible feeling to get comments from people all over the world sending me good energy and love. I also get to travel around the world, meeting the most wonderful people. I absolutely love what I do, and I live and breathe my work.
My favorite activewear brands are:
Nike, Under Armour, and Lululemon.
