It’s no mystery that certain models are ruling the runways and our Instagram feeds right now—ahem, Kendall, Gigi, Joan, and Jourdan—so it’s difficult to remember a time when these girls didn’t have millions of followers and various beauty contracts to bankroll their fabulous lives. Even the buzziest models were once new to the fashion biz, heading to casting calls and hoping for a shot.

As Fashion Week kicks off, we’re thinking about this season’s new set of models that are hoping for their big break. Even if they’ve had a few good “gets” already, the upcoming month of shows can absolutely cement a model’s standing in the industry.

To find out who to keep a close eye on this season, we spoke to some of the top agencies in the business. From Sita Abellan of Rihanna video fame to Lameka Fox, a 100 percent Instagram-scouted model, here are 25 rising stars to watch.

These are the girls who will be cropping up all over the runways this season, alongside Karlie and the gang. It's the new guard – learn 'em and love 'em.

French model Jeanne Cadieu has already walked in multiple Chanel shows – and once you catch the eye of Karl, you catch others. Cadieu had a decent rookie season booking runways like Badgley Mischka and Nanette Lepore immediately following her first Chanel debut, but with another Chanel Haute Couture show under her belt, we expect to be seeing a lot of her this season.

The 20-year-old stunner Jessica S. has brows to-die-for, and is that all-American fresh-faced beauty that we'll be sure to see all over the runways for the Spring 2016 season.

Yuan Bo Chao was already making a name for herself, landing huge shows during her rookie season like Fendi, Giambattista Valli, Dior and more. But now that she's gone red, there's no stopping her – expect to see those striking strands everywhere.

Lameka Fox, another #WLYG Instagram-recruited gal, has already been featured in Teen Vogue and T Magazine and Style.com as one to watch this season.

While Astrid Holler is definitely new to the scene, she's already made her footprint – during her Fall 2015 debut season, she opened at Alex Wang. How's that for a rookie? Expect to see her everywhere this season, with more opening (and closing) spots.

Model Emilie Evander is that blonde haired, blue-eyed face that can be so easily transformed with makeup – and designers have been scooping her up. She walked exclusively for Gucci this Fall 2015 season (in both their men's and women's shows) as well as exclusively for Alex Wang. Expect to see her again on the Gucci runways, and elsewhere.

Isabella Emmack also made an impact during the Fall 2015 season, but we expect to see plenty more of her this season. If you didn't know, she chopped her hair into a pixie (smart move, because she should always show off those cheekbones) and caught the eye of Alex Wang – and opened his show as an exclusive in February. Since then, she's walked for Fendi, Saint Laurent and Balenciaga.

Young newcomer from Buenos Aires, Joaquina Hintermeyer has her sultry gaze down pat – this stunner (with the brows and pout to match) will be one to watch.

Avery Blanchard had a huge debut season walking the likes of Fendi, Prada, Burberry and more – expect to see her working her way around the catwalks in order to secure campaigns for the Spring 2016 season.

Cayley King, fresh from the Midwest, and that killer pout and doe eyes are a surefire sign that we'll be seeing a lot of her this season.

Aya Jones may not exactly be a "new face" this season, as the 20-year-old model actually made quite the name for herself when she debuted as an exclusive on the Prada runways for Fall 2015, and then subsequently starred in their campaign. She quickly followed that massive gig up with major turns on the runways at Miu Miu, Dior, Marc Jacobs and more – we'll be watching for her everywhere to see her cement herself as an "it" model.

Giulia Manini, who is a Dolce & Gabbana favorite, has walked in a handful of other shows – Monique Lhuillier and Badgley Mischka to name a few. But, we of course know that once D&G spots you, you'll be on more runways in the seasons to come.

Swedish model Frida Westerlund is brand new to the scene. With a fair complexion and bright-eyed stare, this Nordic beauty already has that "fashion gaze" down.

Brazilian beauty Isis Batalgia just scored her first cover – for Harper's Bazaar Brazil – so she's going into fashion week with a big win. Isis has previously walked in shows such as Givenchy and Dior, but this season is set to be her breakout.

Korean model Hyun Ji Shin (who actually won "Korea's Next Top Model") is now making a name for herself stateside with an i-D online editorial, Oyster Magazine feature, and a Benetton campaign.

Wilhelmina model Roosmarijn, a Holland native who has appeared in Vogue Thailand and Victoria's Secret, is that blonde-haired, green-eyed stunner that you'll be seeing on plenty of runways to come.

Model Linseiy Montero had a huge debut during her first fashion week season, walking in Prada with her natural hair – in a sea full of slicked-back ponytails. The 19-year-old from the Dominican Republic then went on to walk Celine, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu – we expect to see her (and her little fro) all over the runways this season.

Sita Abellan, who you may recognize from Rihanna's #BBHMM video, is a Spanish DJ and Model who is well-known on Instagram for her fashion sense – and that's actually how she got her RiRi gig. Expect to see her pop up around Fashion Week – possibly at Jeremy Scott.

We're not kidding when we say all the cool girls have bangs this season – and Steffy Argelich is most definitely a cool girl. The model oozes a rocker chic vibe, and although she hasn't walked on many runways, she's already booked editorials with the likes of British Vogue, Vogue Russia and Vogue Italia. Look out.

Veronika Vilim's platinum blonde hair and striking features secured her a spot on the Saint Laurent runway last season, and subsequent editorials in Vogue Russia. We expect to see her walking for Saint Laurent again – and many others.

Slovakian model Barbora Bruskova already has turns in Saint Laurent and Elie Saab Haute Couture under her belt, and the blonde beauty (those cheekbones!) is sure to be seen strutting on many a catwalk for the Spring 2016 season.

Clearly, Kiki Willems' blunt bangs set her apart – which is always a good thing in the modern modeling world. If you recognize her, it's because she was the model who was called underweight in that Saint Laurent ad, thus resulting in the ad being banned in the UK. Since then, she's been spotted in i-D Magazine's no makeup editorial, W Magazine, and more.

Greta Varlese is coming off of a huge rookie Fall 2015 season where she opened Prada – and the industry began to take notice. She then booked a Givenchy and Prada campaign, and landed an i-D Magazine cover. We expect to see her on a ton of runways for the Spring 2016 season – keep your eyes peeled.

Mexican model Luz Pavon is also the founder of her own clothing brand – PAVON NYC – at just 24. The curly-haired beauty has been spotted in Uniqlo campaigns and editorials with Nylon, Dazed & Confused and Bullett – and recently just booked a gig to star in Martin Scorsese's upcoming '70s rock drama on HBO. Expect to see her curls everywhere this season.

Romanian beauty Ana Gilca had a solid showing during the Fall 2015 season, walking for brands such as Nicole Miller, Timo Weiland and J. Crew. The leggy brunette is looking to make even more appearances this season.
