We’ve asked models, bloggers, and fitness entrepreneurs for their food and fitness secrets, but as we continue to prep for the beach this summer, it struck us: Who better to deliver the healthy tips mid-bikini season than a pro surfer? Specifically, 20-year-old beach babe, Lakey Peterson.
Peterson’s a big deal on the surfing scene: She’s ranked fourth on the World Surf League Women’s Championship Tour, and started competing professionally at age 17. She’s got 227,000 dedicated followers on Instagram who support her as she travels from beach to beach, competing and training across the globe.
Right this minute, Lakey’s competing in the Vans US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California, but she took a few minutes out to run us through her daily food and fitness routine. Read and learn, folks: This is how you score a body like a surfer girl.
