Kate Moss’ Model Sister

Kate Moss’ 13-year-old half sister has made her modeling debut. Charlotte ‘Lottie’ Moss, daughter of Kate’s father Peter Moss and his second wife Inger, posed last month for her first test shoot, which was arranged by Sarah Doukas at Storm models, the agency that first discovered Kate at the age of 14.

Lottie’s dad Peter told the Daily Mail, “It’s early days really. Storm, Kate’s agent, felt that it was worth giving Lottie a test shoot and seeing how she turned out. She had a lovely time and she seemed to come out quite well—so everybody’s happy so far. It will be very strictly controlled because she’s not 14 yet so it’s very early days. It will all be left to Sarah and Simon at Storm to decide what the best way ahead is. So we’re going to have a chat with them later in the year, possibly before Christmas, just to decide how to go forward.”

Peter Moss continued, “It was a nice experience [for Lottie] to have a good photographer and the life of a photographic model, a day in the life as it were, but an exciting day for her. [Y]ou have to take advantage of any opportunities that come along haven’t you? If things work out for Lottie and she eventually gets some work it could help her in her future. It’s getting harder and harder to get jobs, university and things like that—so if she can get a couple of jobs early on and get something behind her maybe it makes life easier.”

The gorgeous pictures of Lottie Moss were taken by photographer Andrea Carter-Bowman. Fashion insiders have already rushed to praised Lottie’s look. Carole White, the founder of Premier Models said, “Lottie looks beautiful and fresh—a very English rose look. Generally you need the height. Kate is an exception to the rule because models need to be 5’9″ to 5’11”. I think Lottie would make a lovely young model.” Fashion expert Karen Kay added, “She’s even got a Cindy Crawford-style mole on her chin. She’s the full package. If she plays her cards right, she could eclipse Kate.”

Lottie first came to public attention when she was one of 15 bridesmaids at Kate’s wedding to Jamie Hince in July. So technically, her first “modeling gig” was posing for her half-sister’s bridal party pictures, which were featured in a spread in Vogue. Not a bad way to get discovered if you ask us.
