No matter how old you are, your hair will always tie into how attractive you feel. Your mane is an accessory to your personality and unique sense of style, so it only makes sense for your hairstyle to look healthy and help you feel your most gorgeous. We spoke with celebrity hairstylist Nick Arrojo about the best hairstyles to keep you looking--and feeling--sexy at any age. Try on celebrity hairstyles in the Makeover Studio!

"Teens can normally get away with anything, but this is a great time to be girly and flirty," Arrojo says. He recommends keeping your hair natural without too much product, and don't rush to color your hair--there'll be plenty of time for that later! Try playing with ponytails, twists, buns, braids and fun hair accessories. "Rather than trying to make yourself look older, embrace the innocence of youth!" Dakota Fanning, 17, isn't just a role model because of her intelligence and preternatural acting abilities. As the teen queen transitions to older, more mature roles, she's started taking risks with her fashion choices. Even if some of her outfits are now more form-fitting and sexy, she still keeps her hair looking age-appropriate and flirty. Remember, teens, you'll have plenty of time for overt sex appeal when you're older! Try on Dakota Fanning's hairstyles in the Makeover Studio!

Selena Gomez,18, has never been afraid to experiment with length, volume and both curly and straight hairstyles. The teen starlet keeps her look on the appropriate side of "I just turned 18" sexy (we won't mention any celebrities who unfortunately don't adhere to this rule) by wearing brightly colored lipstick and plenty of eyeliner (but not too much, cough Taylor Momsen cough). "By the time you reach your twenties, it's time to express your own sense of fashion." Arrojo says. Your hairstyle will need to go a variety of places, so versatility is key. You want a style that can looked polished and smooth for work and nicer events, but can be totally sexified la Blake Lively, 23, when you're on dates or out on the town. Emma Watson, 21, was legally obligated to keep her hair long so she could play Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films. Once shooting wrapped on the final film, the young actress immediately made a drastic change: she got a close-cropped pixie cut. In addition to changing her hairstyle, Watson's haircut sent the message that she's not afraid to take unconventional styling risks. Try on Emma Watson's hairstyles in the Makeover Studio!

She may play a type A Gleek on TV, but Lea Michele, 24, isn't afraid to let her sexy self shine on the red carpet. The actress has never met a plunging neckline she didn't like, and she highlights her assets with come-hither tousled waves. She's also experimented with bangs and subtle highlights in the past year. By the time you reach your thirties, you know what makes you feel the most attractive and confident. Nick Arrojo says, "Well-groomed mid-length or long hairstyles--either layered or one-length--look great. Classic or graduated bobs are another stylish option." To add youthfulness to your hair, add face-framing highlights, like Penelope Cruz's, 36, subtle caramel streaks, that draw attention to your gorgeous eyes. The reality TV bombshell hit the big 3-0 in 2010. We think she looks hotter than ever now that she's successful and more secure in who she is. During the day, Kim Kardashian will tone down her makeup and rock a chic ponytail. At night, however, it's all about big-bodied volume and length. Zoe Saldana, 32, enhances her soft, wavy bob with an alluring smoky eye. The Avatar star truly came into the public eye in her late twenties and early thirties, and she's definitely come a long way, style-wise, since her Center Stage and Crossroads (yes, the Britney Spears movie). In terms of the shape and style of your cut, Arrojo says to stick with what makes you feel young and beautiful. He adds, "Now is the time when--for most women--gray starts to creep in. If your gray areas cover less than 25% of your hair, then some subtle highlights will be enough to cover them. If you're in the 25% to 50% gray range, then you need an all-over demi-permanent, single process hair color to take the grey away. If you're more than 50% gray go for a permanent, single process. Long hair, an edgy crop, curls--it doesn't matter when it comes to Halle Berry, 44. The stunning actress can pull off pretty much any hairstyle (well, we haven't seen her in a bowl cut, but she'd probably rock that, too), although as she's entered her 40's, Berry seems to be sticking with a fierce pixie. Now that Salma Hayek, 44, is a mom on the go, she keeps her hair in a practical medium-length hairstyle. That doesn't mean that the actress can't still bust (pun intended) out the va-va-voom for the red carpet. Her glossy locks are easy to sex up with a deep side part and flipped-up ends. "If, by now, your hair is becoming finer, thinner, or weaker, consider a shorter, textured style. A short haircut allows the hairs of your head to sit on top of one another, giving you the illusion of thickness (as opposed to a long hairstyle, which will hang straight down and consequently appear even more fine and thin)," Arrojo says. Helen Mirren is still considered a stone-cold fox at the age of 65. Try on Helen Mirren's hairstyles in the Makeover Studio!
