Nicki Minaj's Givenchy outfit is so amazing that only the singer herself can describe it: "It's just a miraculous piece of lioness meets her cub meets fierce-ocity meets fabulocity meets fashionista meets runway meets everything, darling." And of her wig, the rapper joked, "Yes, this is all my hair. At night, if I press a certain button, first of all my hair grows up, and then I press another button and activate the color on it." We love it.

It takes guts for a woman to swathe herself in horizontal stripes made of white tissue paper glued onto a nude bodysuit, so we applaud Rihanna for that aspect of this bold Jean Paul Gaultier number. But then again, she's wearing horizontal white tissue paper stripes on a nude bodysuit. When has that ever been a good thing? We do like her cute, flipped-out bob and plum-colored lipstick, though.

How do you make a million tween girls even more jealous that you're the one [allegedly] dating Justin Bieber? Show up to the Grammys looking smokin' hot. Selena Gomez looked sexy yet age-appropriate (cough, Miley Cyrus, cough) in a gold J. Mendel dress. Her bubble gum pink lips and caramel highlights showed off her glowing skin.

In the midst of getting married and collecting royalties for her hit song "Firework" being used in the promotion for every award show this season and on Glee, Katy Perry forgot to consult her calendar before the Grammys and accidentally got dressed for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show instead. That's the only explanation we could think of for the angel wings. It's mildly adorable how she brought her Grammy to the Grammys, though. Okay fine, it melted our cynical hearts.

The dog days are over, America! Sing a bohemian rhapsody because boho babe Florence Welch has arrived on our shores at long last. The Florence and the Machine singer wore a Givenchy dress embroidered with swans (this is how you wear swans, Bjork) and kept her signature red hair in loose waves with blunt bangs.

Miley, can we talk? Do you mind if we call you Miley? So anyway, your hair? Those super-long, wavy extensions that you think are covering the ridiculous amount of side boob your sparkly Cavalli dress reveals? They're not actually covering the ridiculous amount of side boob your sparkly Cavalli dress reveals. Or your new dream catcher tattoo, LOL! K, glad we could have this talk. TTYL, LYLAS!

We didn't know what her royal highness Lady Gaga would be wearing when she emerged from her egg, in which she incubated for the duration of the red carpet and until she performed her new single, "Born This Way," in a nude latex skirt and top. To accept her award for "Best Pop Vocal Album," she wore this sculpted leather bodysuit with the night's requisite shoulder spikes and a high ponytail tinged pale pink with extremely short, choppy bangs. It's no meat dress, but it'll do.

Yup, Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow are sharing a spot on the Best Dressed List. Why? Well, just look at them. They could seriously pass for twins here. Identical loose, blonde curls; sparkly black outfits; lanky, cross-legged poses; sexy performances at the Grammys and super-famous musicians for husbands. Wait a second...Is Gwyneth Paltrow trying to Single White Female Beyonce?

Uh, Hayley Williams? This is a little awkward, but the Goth Ice Capades are next week.

Jennifer Hudson shows off her gorgeous figure in a Versace dress with an architectural, metallic bodice and flowing, asymmetrical skirt. Her long, sleek strands leave the focus on her stunning blue eye makeup.

Ciara usually rocks an edgy, black leather look, so it was great to see her switch it up in a flowing, feminine Pucci. The cobalt collar and pattern have a subtle Mediterranean influence, and the high slit is one of the hot trends of the night. Unfortunately, the singer chose to pair her gown with overpowering, overly dramatic stilettos, and she's just not working the dress to show its softness on the red carpet.

Kim Kardashian, who appears to be a requirement at all award shows these days, stuns in a gold Kaufman Franco gown. She told Ryan Seacrest that at one point "her whole butt wouldn't fit in the dress!" Somehow, we don't think the males of America would mind, Kim. Luckily, the designer was kind enough to whip up another dress for the reality starlet in time for the Grammys. Crisis averted. You'll just have to check out Kim's posterior in W magazine or, uh, everywhere else, guys.

Singer Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum won five Grammys in this outfit. Yeah, yeah, it's about talent, we know, but come on, girl, you're drowning in that boring black dress! And her gorgeous face is totally hidden under that curtain of hair and those bangs. The first thing we noticed in this picture was the interesting backdrop, which is never a good sign. Oh, if we were her stylist, the things we'd do differently...

Keri Hilson proves that you can look unique without going over the top in a cute teal minidress with an intricate feather and silver jeweled pattern. Her asymmetrical two-toned blonde and brunette bob completes the look.

Eva Longoria, you do know that there's a "no" box on RSVP cards, right? There's absolutely no reason for you to be at the Grammys. Or this year's SAG Awards. But if you're going to keep turning up at every single award show, we're going to keep talking about what you're wearing. And if what you're wearing is just a big bunch of no--like this Ashi dress--we're going to keep putting you on the Worst Dressed List. Deal?

Maybe her recent Cosmo cover controversy has stirred up something in Lea Michele, because she's been looking a lot sexier on the past two red carpets. First, she wore a gorgeous crepe de chine de la Renta at the SAGs, and then she stunned in this ruffled Pucci with a thigh-high slit at the Grammys. Michele paired her gown with bright, raspberry-colored lipstick and a loose, wavy hairstyle.

Looking like a tiny doll dressed for the first day of spring, Kelly Osbourne wore a lavender dress from Tadashi Shoji's Presentation Collection. The hand-cut chiffon floral detailing was intricate and delicate, and the satin ribbon showed off Osbourne's tiny waist. The starlet kept her blonde hair straight with a sexy side part and rocked a subtle plum smoky eye.

If any designers are reading this, please take note. How do we say this elegantly and in a ladylike fashion? Pale pink and red should not be paired together. Ever. Especially in a curved, lined outer skirt, like the one seen here on Jordin Sparks' Zang Toi gown. Do you catch our drift? This dress would be totally fine as a red satin minidress.

What better way to promote her new gig as the global brand ambassador for Gillette Venus razors than to show off her gorgeous gams in a stunning Pucci minidress on the Grammys red carpet? Jennifer Lopez wowed the crowd in a seriously sexy silver number; her hair extensions and sleeves were almost longer than the dress' hemline! But hey, if you got it, flaunt it.

We want to like Natasha Bedingfield's extremely pleasant periwinkle embroidered confection, but her getup is just so wrong for the Grammys. Lady Gaga arrived in an egg, and Nicki Minaj would be hunted for her pelt if she wandered onto an African plain. Meanwhile, here's Natasha, drifting along in a spring gown and hair straight out of Boardwalk Empire.
