Raise your hand if you’re in the mood for bottomless mimosas right now. Now raise your hand if you’re in the mood for a leafy green juice. Yep, that’s what we thought. But wait! It is possible to get your dose of greens while unwinding with a cocktail—and when a nourishing face mask is added to the mix, you may as well call it therapy. Even better, you can score your relaxation fix in one 20-minute punch. Welcome to your first session.

First up, treat your pores to the nutrition boost that is Glossier’s Mega Greens Galaxy Pack face mask ($22 for 3 oz.). Billed as a “juice cleanse for your face,” the formula calms inflammation and draws out buildup with kaolin white clay. It’s also chock full of rejuvenating goodies like parsley, spinach and cress sprout extract (to detoxify and shield skin from environmental stressors), bitter orange peel (to regulate oil production), avocado and aloe (to hydrate) and an antioxidant-rich superfruit blend (to protect against cell damage). Slather it on, and let it work its magic for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, get your drink situation in order. Today’s special is a Kale, Pineapple and Basil Smash courtesy of Serious Eats. All you’ll need is the aforementioned three ingredients plus a splash of rye whiskey. And if you don’t have a juicer, don’t sweat it. You can swap the homemade stuff for a Naked Juice Kale Blazer ($2.78 for 15.2 oz.). Here’s what to do:

Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
8 basil leaves, divided
1 1/2 ounces rye
1/4 ounce fresh kale juice
Basil sprig and pineapple slice (for garnish)

Directions:
Step 1: Muddle the pineapple and five of the basil leaves in a cocktail shaker until the mixture resembles a pulpy puree.
Step 2: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, and add the rye and kale juice. Shake until well chilled, about 20 seconds.
Step 3: Place three remaining basil leaves in your glass of choice and fill it with ice. Strain the cocktail into the glass, and garnish with a basil sprig and pineapple slice. Serve immediately.

And there you have it. The sweet taste of kale and pineapple is just enough to qualify this as a brunch drink, and even provides a dose of vitamins A and C. So that means your skin and body can juice cleanse at the same time… with a covert shot of whiskey. Cheers!
