Finally, an alternative to Dry Bar for the curly girls!

While blowouts and straighteners have taken the spotlight, women with curly hair have turned to Miss Jessie products. And now the two founding sisters of the brand have recently opened Miss Jessie’s CurlBar in SoHo.

6 New Things Curly Girls Need To Know

Founders Miko and Titi Branch have over 20 years of experience taming unmanageable curls. At the curlbar, services include wash & go, strand twists, coil-outs, hot iron curls, curly cuts and more. Most services run about $100, but for free, you can try The Secret Treat, a shampoo bowl conditioner!

Also available for purchase at the salon is their line of products that include cleansers, conditioners, deep treatments, stylers and moisturizers. Keep your eyes open for five new products that will be out in June.

Another salon that specializes in textured hair is Manhattan’s Hair Rules, owned by stylist Anthony Dickens, who prides himself in taming any curl.
