This might be an unpopular opinion, but I’ve actually grown tired of my pink Clarisonic. When I first bought it—about three years ago—I was so excited to use it every day. About 1,000 uses later, I’m tired of having to charge it, and I hate having to make a trip to Sephora every couple of months for a new brush head. My relationship with Clarisonic might get the jumpstart it desperately needs with the recent release of new brush heads.
Cashmere Cleanse brush heads ($30, clarisonic.com) feature longer bristles than the original version, but the real difference is in the feel of the brush. When the new brush heads came in, I spent a good five minutes running my fingers back and forth along them—they are just so soft! The longer, softer bristles also make for a slightly different cleansing experience. Whereas the normal brushes feel like you’re really scrubbing the skin, these feel like your running feathers over your face. You don’t have to worry about sacrificing cleanliness for a softer feel, though, as the Cashmere Cleanse brush heads are still said to clean the skin six times better than just using your hands.
Since the new brush heads fit the original Clarisonic, you don’t have to worry about shelling out to buy a whole new device. This simple change may be just what I need to revive my love affair with the Clarisonic.
