The day has finally arrived. It was just announced that the Oscars are giving long overdue recognition to hair in the movies; the makeup category will now be the Makeup and Hairstyling Award. Marie Antoinette may have been one of the worst movies, but visually it was captivating. The colors were vibrant, the food had us drooling, and the hair...well, it made us want to turn in our electricity for high curls and bleach blonde wigs.

It still amazes us how such a gorgeous woman can transform into Lisbeth Salander, an edgy and quite disturbed computer hacker. Rooney Mara made us all a little jealous that we can't look that cool in a mohawk and half-shaven head.
