“This liquid lipstick is a mix between a gloss and a lipstick, giving it a semi-matte finish with a whole bunch of staying power. I can get through a breakfast and a lunch without this stuff fading or leaving a weird ring around my lips. It’s one of my favorite drugstore liquid lipsticks!”—Chloe Metzger, beauty editor

“Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick is the GOAT. It has the richest pigment and last for hours, even on days when you have five cups of green tea, Chipotle for lunch, and several cocktails at dinner. (Not that I know that from experience or anything.) It comes in several nude shades and a bunch of bold colors. My personal favorite is the retro red dubbed ‘Heathers.’”—Leah Faye Cooper, editorial producer

My signature is a siren red lip, but I am never without a beverage in hand and have a lot of lip square footage, so I find myself having to reapply constantly. A few years ago after having tried an absurd amount of different long-lasting lip colors to no avail, my friend turned me on to this little guy from Sephora and since then I have gone through countless tubes. It’s easy to apply and truly stays put all day and all night through champagne, inclement weather, and several games of spin the bottle.”—Christina Grasso, social media manager

“This lipstick is perfect for when I want a dark lip that’s not too dark and still feminine. It’s also super creamy, smells wonderful, and is pretty cheap— what’s not to love?”—Corinna Wong, editorial intern

“I wound up with this Dior lipstick in Red Smile one day when I felt like I needed some red lipstick to jazz up my denim overalls (I know, I know, you don't hear that sentence every day) and our beauty editor hooked me up. To my delight, it stayed put for the entire afternoon. Score!” —Bibi Deitz, entertainment editor

“Stila’s liquid lipstick stays on forever. I have it in a very bright pink (a color I’d usually worry about getting on my clothes) and can put it on at the beginning of the day or a long night and never worry that it’s going to be awkwardly half-smudged off a few hours later.”—Hilary George-Parkin, fashion editor
