Best Actress nominee, Kerry Washington, walked away empty-handed when it came to the 2011 BET Awards ceremony, but at least she looked stunning in a long chartreuse maxi and a slicked back ponytail.

When it comes to off-the-wall fashion sense, Nicki Minaj tends to be right up there with Lady Gaga. (We're pretty sure there's no winners in that competition, though.) While she might have walked away with BET's Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award last night, she gets our "worst" for her striped and flowery rose-colored dress and "Monster"-esque putrid-green leopard tights.

Keri Hilson might not have won any awards at the BET ceremony, but we're betting she did the "Pretty Girl Rock" all night long with this sexy and chic purple and black jumper accented by a bright green pendant necklace.

Bondage? A woven place mat? A quilt pattern? Nope, that's just Mary J. Blige rocking a cut-out geometric dress that only serves as a metaphor for the singer's slowly dwindling career. To both, we shrug our shoulders and say: "Eh."

Alicia Keys gave birth to her first child with husband Swizz Beatz last October, but from the looks of it she wasted no time in getting rid of the baby weight. She showed up, and performed, at the awards show looking fierce in a structued white blazer, black jumpsuit and black and white striped platforms. She finished it off with a tousled fishtail braid for a super sexy look.

Before we ask why Ashanti showed up in this reject dress from the Jessica McClintock prom collection, we have to wonder why she was there in the first place? Despite her lack of recent hits (see: none) we think if she was going to chose the BET Awards as her re-introduction to the music world she should have at least gone with a better stylist.

You know the myth that expecting women often give off a pregnancy glow? Nia Long lives up to that tall-tale by looking absolutely radiant on the red carpet in a strapless white dress and sleek updo. The actress recently announced she's pregnant with her second child.

When your dad is Will Smith and your mom is Jada Pinkett-Smith, you're destined to A. look gorgeous and B. be talented. Their daughter, 10-year-old Willow, certainly has both of those traits, but we weren't too keen on the rising singer's fashion choice of a red blazer, gold-splashed motorcycle boots and a yellow shirt printed with her dad's character from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

It's only fitting that Taraji P. Henson wore a beautiful and simple gold dress considering she took home the gold for the 2011 BET Best Actress award. Her pompadour updo added to the elegant look and puts her in our winner's circle when it comes to best dressed.

Maybe it's the leather pants with the gold crotch zipper. Or maybe it's the flipped out bangs and braided hairstyle. Perhaps it's the sleeveless black and gold vest resembling tapestry. Wherever the fashion faux-pas lies with the rapper Eve's ensemble, her outfit had us singing one of her classic hits: "Who's That Girl."
