If you describe yourself as a “woman on the verge”, the newest trio of Peter Som Zoya nail polishes are made for you, literally. We went backstage at the Peter Som show and chatted with Zoya Adel creator of Zoya. The trio of polishes, available online in limited quantities now, was inspired by the phrase “Woman on the verge, a la Valley of the Dolls“. For the show, the manicure was a classic French but with a twist, using a combination of the mint green and orange color shades. The mint was the base coat and the orange shade was used at the edge.
“It’s for the classic woman, but with just an edge. I love that idea, because it’s very appropriate, it’s very modern”, says Adel. All three of the shades are two coat, full coverage polishes with a white base. Instead of a dingy looking base, the Zoya polish is clear with a white base. The orange is a white, creamy color, perfect for spring instead of the traditional, peach color for spring.
The shades, pictured above are Zoya Jacqueline, Zoya Neely and Zoya Sharon. Are you as in love with the polish as we are? Check it out on zoya.com, where the Peter Som trio will be available in limited quantities.
