Need an injection of holiday spirit? I’ve got just the thing for you. If you’re in New York, meander uptown this Sunday to check out the Barneys’ holiday windows. Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, Proenza Schouler and Narciso Rodriguez, among others, are all debuting peace-sign-inspired looks in the legendary display. Commissioned by Earth Pledge, the looks are all dutifully made out of sustainable materials. My favorite outfit is the one sketched above by Rodriguez–do you see the peace sign along the torso? Clever, clever.
If you need yet another reason to make the trek to the Upper East Side, note that 5 percent of sales on November 16 will benefit Earth Pledge. I think that’s reason enough to get your holiday shopping started early this year.
