Nicolas Ghesquire is one of the few designers who truly sets the trends for himself regardless of whether other designers are opting for a French minimalism or Western influences gone mad kind of season.

For Resort, the designer got a bit print happy with the lovely combination of red, silver and turquoise, which led into streamlined dresses in autumnal hues and back into that sporty vibe Ghesquire is so good at. The trick is that he’s pairing those sporty quilted jackets and menswear inspired vests with voluminous below the knee skirts and knee high boots. It’s somewhere between futuristic, what with those amazing silver foil trousers and 70s for the girl who doesn’t like her trends translated too literally for her. Oh, and a solid little visor.
