When it comes to boys and their oversized (on me), oh-so-comfortable clothes–and especially their soft, years-old t-shirts–I tend to veer a bit towards the kleptomaniac side of the spectrum. There are few things better than slipping into a pair of legitimate boyfriend jeans, a to-the-knees grandpa cardigan, his old college hoodie, or those classic white Hanes tees that feel like they’ve been through the spin cycle a million times (probably because they have).
And now, there’s yet another layer to the appeal of stealing your boyfriend’s clothes–on May 28th, Topman will launch it’s 4th design project wherein they invite a handful of designers to create their versions of the perfect white t-shirt. Participating designers include: Phillip Lim, Richard Chai, Henry Holland, Juun J, Christopher Shannon, and JW Anderson, along with Topman’s in-house design team. The line will be sold in the London and New York (yay!) flagship stores, selected stores nationwide, and online.
