Anne Hathaway looked stunning in a plunging Prabal Gurung gown from his most recent resort collection.

The peplum gown was a departure from her dark alter-ego in the movie, Catwoman, but the look suited her to a tee with her adorable pixie cut.

Quickly becoming a fashion icon, Marion Cotillard killed the red carpet in a ruffled but refined Christian Dior frock paired with Louboutins.

Damn. Zoe Kravitz stole the spotlight last night in this sheer cutaway Pucci dress. We loved it, but do you think it was too bold to wear to a film premiere that you weren't a part of?

Hailee Steinfeld always manages to look age-appropriate and chic, especially here in Marc Jacobs.

Christian Bale, with gorgeous wife Sibi Blazic, looked dashing in Tom Ford -- as Batman should!

Tom Hardy looked sexy in Burberry.

Dimpled darling Joseph Gordon-Levitt opted for a striking gray Balenciaga suit.

Gossip Girl villain Michelle Trachtenberg looked sleek for the premiere.

A full cast shot! Does this not get you stoked for the flick?

Morgan Freeman looked elegant and old-fashioned in this all-black suit.

Russell Simmons and Miss Universe Leila Lopes brought their own style to the black carpet.

Pharrell Williams never shows up without his signature swagger.

Donald and Melania Trump showed everyone who's boss at the premiere.

This Friday, we can almost assure you that box office records are about to break with the release of the hotly anticipated summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises. The Dark Knight Rises is set to be the concluding film in the trilogy, the last of which (The Dark Knight), snagged Heath Ledger a well-deserved posthumous Oscar.

But the big movie only means one thing to the fashion-obsessed: a big red carpet! Last night marked the film’s New York City premiere, and the stars (not to mention other fashionistas) brought their A-Game, wearing labels like Marc Jacobs, Pucci, and Prabal Gurung.

The highlights of the carpet were, appropriately, the film’s stars, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard, who both opted for gorgeous white gowns. Here, we’ve  compiled a round-up of the must-see looks of the night, so click through the gallery above and let us know who you think did Batman the best justice!
