Suzanna Carafano is a vintage aficionado. I know a lot of people call themselves that, but she’s not calling herself that, I’m calling her that, because it’s so true. I first got to know Suzanna’s insane set of mad skills when I shopped her ebay store back in the day and I’ve been a major fan ever since.
Her curated e-commerce site by the same name, Spanish Moss, followed said ebay mainstay and girls who love sick vintage finds flock to it. Carafano launched her own line, American Gold, and though it finds inspiration in the vintage the designer is rightfully obsessed with, it’s completely modern and has a decidedly Cali girl in the 70s transported to Coachella today vibe. For Fall, think lace mini dresses, silk tops with open backs, crochet maxi dresses and the like. Click though for the pretty lookbook, entitled City of God, which goes on sale in late August on e-commerce sites like Shopbop and Spanish Moss, bien sur.
