Members of fashion’s A-list came out en masse last night to attend the annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards and, as expected, looked as chic as ever. While the evening’s sole purpose is to honor the best and brightest up-and-comers in fashion, part of the fun is poring over what everyone wears. This year’s attendees didn’t disappoint, as many came equipped in some of the season’s top trends, including fit ‘n’ flare dresses, peplum detail, prints-on-prints and winter whites.
The ceremony itself honors designers in various sectors of fashion—from apparel to accessories—with the winner taking home $300,000, as well as an exclusive mentorship to further their business. Runners-up score $100,000. Taking home the top prize this year was Greg Chait of chic knitwear line The Elder Stateman. Runner-up honors went to footwear designer Tabitha Simmons, and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer. Other finalists included Suno’s Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty, A.L.C.’s Andrea Lieberman, Assembly New York’s Greg Armas, Giulietta’s Sofia Sizzi, Illesteva’s Justin Salguero, Daniel Silberman and Alina Silberman, Jennifer Fisher, and Wes Gordon.
