...And the fact that WSJ's Preetma Singh got way ahead of the aforementioned trend.

Over the weekend, New York Fashion Week really hit its stride and —despite the freezing temperatures and leftover blizzard slush blizzard threats—the days were filled with notable, interesting, and just plain stylish things.

So many in fact, that we decided to highlight 10 in particular that caught our eye—from the fur mittens at Alexander Wang and Altuzarra (and the fact that WSJ‘s Preetma Singh was spotted wearing them way ahead of the season), to the overall hipster awesomeness at Chloe Sevigny x Opening Ceremony.

We’ll be doing this throughout the remainder of the week, so be sure to check back for our 10 Awesome Things list, straight from the front lines of New York Fashion Week!
