2012 Oscar Nominations Announced: Is This Brad Pitt’s Year?

So, the 2012 Academy Award nominations are officially here, and it looks like we’re in for another snoozefest this year. Okay, I’m sort of kidding. But seriously, there’s only so much Meryl Streep I can take, and it’s obvious The Artist is going to win everything anyway.

The one silver lining to these award nominations is that Brad Pitt finally has a serious shot at taking home an Oscar! I’m not the biggest Brad fan, but he seriously killed it in Moneyball. KILLED it. If Brad doesn’t win, I’m officially over the Academy. Anyway, take a look at the big nominations below, and let us know what you think!
