Red carpet looks always seem to be tricky to get just right–especially with critics gazing on in full judgmental force. Some celebs always get it right and others, well, just don’t. At the premiere of 2012 you’ll definitely see what we mean. Stars like Thandie Newton, Camilla Belle, and Amanda Peet were spotted gleaming and gliding down the red carpet in all their end-of-the-world glory… Check out some of the hits and misses below:
HITS:
Camilla Belle looked fabulous in a ruffled blue and turquoise beaded Alexander McQueen frock and clutch with Cartier jewels!
Thandie Newton donned Prabal Gurung and, as always, looked classic and beautiful in this figure flattering dress.
Erin Axtell chose the ever famous LBD with a twist that we loved and now want!
MISSES:
Crystle Stewart wore this body conscious hot red peek-a-boo dress that just didn’t quite make our cut…The length on her petite frame is unflattering, and we’re not really a fan of her hair and make-up selection.
Amanda Peet‘s strapless cream floor length gown seemed a little out of place for this particular premiere. Maybe try something a little sassier next time?
Don’t get us wrong, we love Shannyn Sossamon, but there’s a time and a place to wear a casual one piece and the red carpet isn’t one of them…
