Judith Light reminds us of an old New York Broadway star in her classically cut gown.

Jess Weixler incorporated one of summer's most popular colors, stone, into her flowing number for the evening that appeared both comfortable and modern.

When in doubt, do as Beth Leavel did and boast a draped dress in one of the season's biggest colors, failure is nearly impossible.

Hello 1940s glamour: Michael Cerveris and his guest could have stepped out of another time with her whisper lavender lace dress and his old-school tux.

Amanda Seyfried's look was one of our favorite of the evening with soft and nostalgic boudoir references, she reminded us of an old Broadway star preparing for a show in her dressing room.

Celia Keenan-Bolger's look was all kind of reminiscent of an Edwardian princess -- and we like it.

Ellen Barkin proves that leaving something to the imagination goes a long way. She looks all kinds of elegant in her long-sleeved navy number.

It’s not a secret that theater folk have a reputation of being… loud. Last night at the Tony Awards, however, they decided to keep quiet and let their red carpet looks do all the talking. Possibly not as seasoned as some of our favorite silver screen stars, these stage honeys really pulled out all the stops for one of the biggest evenings for musical theater.

We particularly loved the interpretation of neutrals and plunging sweetheart necklines for this early summer evening. The ladies took two divergent paths when it came to styling from classic fitted formal wear to more relaxed silhouettes inspired by menswear or 1920s nostalgia (did you check out the sick embellishment on some of those gowns?!)

    Beth Behrs killed. She concealed do much and revealed just enough. The cuts in this dress make it stunning.
